Nexter Robotics awarded High Research Secured - Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Sys contract

Nexter, a KNDS group company, leading European land defence systems manufacturer, today announced that it has officially been selected by the Canadian government to supply the Canadian Army with 88 multi-purpose robots.

Nexter Robotics sets foot on North American soil

Nexter Systems, as prime contractor, will provide overall HRS-ROV program and configuration management for the delivery of 79 NERVA®-LG and 9 NERVA®-XX robots through its subsidiary Nexter Robotics. The team includes Nexter Robotics and ECA Robotics for the supply of the robots, and Deltic Group (Oakville, ON) for the In-Support (ISS). The HRS-ROV contract has a value of C$6 million CAD GSTE (4 million EUR).
